Scholarships for U.S. Students

U.S. high schools participating in Academic Year in America (AYA) recieve an annual scholarship that can be awarded to a worthy American student from the school community.

One of the advantages of enrolling an AYA student in your school is access to the AIFS family of programs. AIFS offers a world of study abroad opportunities open to high school, pre-college and college students. In addition, the American Council for International Studies (ACIS), a division of AIFS, offers short-term travel programs for students, teachers and adults. AYA high schools can redeem scholarships toward any of the AIFS or ACIS study or travel abroad programs listed below.

My host family has beautiful minds and pretty smiles. One of the things that I've learned from my host family is smiling with my teeth. I hadn't smiled with my teeth since my childhood. They gave me that smile back. I loved being a part of their family and it's really sad to leave. I'm looking forward to inviting them to my fatherland having fun together again.
