REGIONAL AND LOCAL STAFF - AYA has a network of several hundred dedicated Local Coordinators throughout the United States. Local Coordinators are men and women of all ages—young teachers, retirees, professionals and homemakers. Local Coordinators are supervised by Regional Directors who serve as a point communication between your school, students, host families and Local Coordinators. They maintain contact with overseas partners as well. AYA staff receive reports about student progress, evaluate the information and take appropriate action when necessary. 24-HOUR EMERGENCY COVERAGE - Round-the-clock resources include a toll free number with 24-hour emergency telephone service.

there for you as well as students, families and Local Coordinators.
